ERHEAP's health work brings prevention, counselling and clinical referral directly to the communities most at risk of being left behind. We train peer educators from within those communities - so the people delivering services speak the same language, share the same lived experience, and can be trusted with the most sensitive conversations.
Sub-programmes
Peer-led outreach, condom and lubricant distribution, PrEP education and referral, risk-reduction counselling, and HIV linkage to treatment.
Confidential physical spaces where community members can access information, counselling, rest and onward referral without judgement.
One-to-one and small-group sessions on sexual and reproductive health, mental wellbeing and health navigation.
